As part of the City of Encinitas Sculpture Loan Program (2024–2025), Deanne Sabeck’s sculpture “Luminous Wave” is currently displayed on Pedestal Site B in Cardiff (Corner of Newcastle and Liverpool, 2121 Newcastle Ave, Encinitas, CA 92007).
Encinitas Friends of the Arts has offered to purchase and donate this sculpture permanently to the City for display at its current location. If the sculpture remains at this site, the City would need to identify a new location in Cardiff to continue the Sculpture Loan Program in this area.
Please participate in a quick survey by January 2, 2026 to share your thoughts. The results will be shared with the Encinitas Commission for the Arts during their Monday, January 5, 2026 meeting.
