Moonlight Beach Water Fountain and Refilling Station
The heart of our coast, Moonlight State Beach, is a better place thanks to our supporters. Situated next to the popular playground, this essential water fountain—complete with a modern water bottle refilling station—promotes sustainability and ensures families and beachgoers stay hydrated while enjoying the sand and surf.

Shade Structures at Historic Oakcrest Park
Oakcrest Park, one of Encinitas’s oldest public spaces, is a vital community hub. To enhance comfort and accessibility, funds raised were instrumental in building shade structures over the bocce courts. This simple addition ensures community members can comfortably enjoy the park’s recreational facilities even on the sunniest days.

Encinitas Community and Senior Center Dance Floor
The Encinitas Community and Senior Center is a focal point for active community life. We raised the funds necessary to purchase a modular parquet wood dance floor. This direct contribution supplemented the department’s budget shortfall and immediately allowed the Center to host community dances, boosting local recreation and social connection for seniors.

Lawn Games for Pop-Up Park Events
We directly support community fun and participation by providing essential resources for the Parks & Recreation Commission’s popular Pop-Up Park events. The Encinitas Project provides a selection of large-scale lawn games, including oversized Connect 4, junior corn hole, and family-friendly, plastic axe throwing. These popular games bring people together at major City events like Cyclovia, Arbor Day, and Movies in the Park.
