We rely entirely on people like you to help us advocate for and activate our City’s incredible parks, recreation programs, and cultural arts initiatives.

How You Can Get Involved

We have flexible, fun opportunities for you to help us at local Encinitas events throughout the year. Your help ensures our community knows the value and impact of supporting our public spaces.

Your tasks may include:

• Be a Mission Ambassador: Talk to the public about The Encinitas Project’s mission and the vital value the City of Encinitas Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department brings to our community.
• Event Logistics: Lend a hand with setup and breakdown to ensure our presence at events runs smoothly.
• Pop Up Parks Activity Booths: Work in our Pop Up Parks activity booths, greet visitors, encourage play with children, and help them engage with our mission in a fun way.
• Community Outreach: Help us get our positive message out to more residents and visitors.
• Host a Fundraising Party: Get creative and host an event—from a backyard barbecue to a casual cocktail party—and dedicate the proceeds to supporting The Encinitas Project.
